Peptide presentation guide

Lyophilized or liquid?
Start with the material.

The physical form, formulation and container answer different questions. Here is how to compare them without losing the peptide specification.

Lyophilized means freeze-dried. Liquid describes a different physical presentation. Neither word, on its own, tells you the complete formulation, amount or container specification. When comparing lyophilized vs liquid peptides, start by asking exactly what is being offered.

A vial is the container. A kit is a collection of components. Those terms belong beside the material description, rather than replacing it. This distinction helps you compare enquiries that use similar product photographs but leave different details unanswered.

What does lyophilized mean?

During lyophilization, a frozen product is dried under vacuum, with ice changing directly into vapour. FDA's technical inspection guide describes this process and treats formulation and finished-product testing as separate considerations. The word identifies a manufacturing process; it is not a complete quality result. Read the FDA technical guide.

Freeze-dried material can also contain ingredients other than the named peptide. Ask for the formulation and the basis of the stated content. A visible dry cake or powder is a presentation detail, not a measurement of peptide identity or amount.

What does a liquid description leave open?

A useful liquid specification names the material and states the formulation, total content, fill volume and concentration. If a quotation only says "liquid peptide", ask for those fields before comparing it with a dry-material entry.

Our content vs concentration guide covers the units in more detail. Here, the important point is that a format description should identify the actual material being compared.

Dry appearance does not settle the specification

For a concrete analytical example, NIST's archived RM 8327 report describes lyophilized synthetic peptides, then reports sequence, molecular-mass and purity information separately. It demonstrates how the physical presentation sits alongside analytical information. This historical reference material is unrelated to Aurelis products, and its stated reference-value validity ended in 2015. Read the archived NIST report, page 1.

For a current enquiry, request the offered item's own records. Keep identity, composition and content questions visible even when the photograph looks familiar. A larger-looking cake or a fuller-looking container is not a substitute for those records.

Apply the distinction to catalogue names

Aurelis lists BPC-157 10 mg, Semax 10 mg, Selank 10 mg. These are listed content amounts per unit. They do not specify a liquid fill volume or establish that the same amount is offered in every presentation.

For BPC-157, ask which physical form and container apply to the quoted item. For Semax or Selank nasal-format enquiries, request the finished formulation and presentation details separately. Do not transfer a catalogue amount to a liquid or spray configuration without confirmation.

Keep vials and kits in the comparison

Both vials and pen-style kits remain part of Aurelis format enquiries. A kit image does not tell you whether its contents are dry, liquid or supplied as separate components. Request an itemised description for the configuration under discussion.

Use a short enquiry line: peptide name; listed amount; requested physical form; preferred container or kit. Add your destination in Australia, Canada or the USA, and ask which configuration and matching records are currently available. Leave unanswered fields open instead of choosing values from another product.
